JVDI AWARD OPPORTUNITIES
JVDI Awards The Journal of Veterinary Diagnostic Investigation (JVDI) is the official journal of the AAVLD. Each year, the awards committee selects two published manuscripts for awards in the following categories. Application is not necessary; all published manuscripts are considered eligible.Best JVDI ManuscriptAny full manuscript that has appeared in JVDI from the past July through the June issues.
Best JVDI Brief CommunicationAny brief communication manuscript that has appeared in JVDI from the past July through the June issues. Award of $250.00 check, AAVLD newsletter & article on the AAVLD website. We encourage submission of manuscripts to the JVDI based on your oral and poster presentations at the annual meeting. Manuscripts accepted by the JVDI editor after scientific peer-review will be published as refereed journal articles. Guidelines for format and style of manuscripts are published in the journal and on the AAVLD website (www.aavld.org). Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts to the editor for processing prior to the meeting, if possible, for timely publication.
Consider Publication in the Journal of Veterinary Diagnostic Investigation (JVDI), the official journal of the AAVLD: We encourage all submitters to also consider submitting their work to the JVDI for peer-review publication.
