E. P. Pope Award
 The E. P. Pope Award is AAVLD’s highest recognition for significant contributions to the organization and the field of Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory Medicine. Nomination letters and letters of support from the general membership will be accepted from May 1 – June 15, 2024. Nominations for this prestigious award are reviewed by the AAVLD Awards Committee and the recipient is approved by the AAVLD Executive Board. AAVLD Distinguished Service Award
The AAVLD Distinguished Service Award recognizes a member who has generously volunteered their time, energy, and professionalism to substantially enrich and advance the organization. Nomination letters and letters of support from the general membership will be accepted from May 1 – June 15, 2024. Nominations for this prestigious award are reviewed by the AAVLD Awards Committee and the recipient is approved by the AAVLD Executive Board.
AAVLD Outstanding Performance Award for Diagnostic Services
The AAVLD Outstanding Performance Award for Diagnostic Services honors a member of an AAVLD laboratory that has performed their duties on behalf of their clients in an outstanding fashion. This may be at the bench conducting diagnostic tests, or by performing a variety of essential laboratory management services such as clerical, fiscal, physical facility, or quality system work. Nomination letters and letters of support from Laboratory Directors or Section Leaders will be accepted from May 1 – June 15, 2024. Nominations for this prestigious award are reviewed by the AAVLD Awards Committee and the recipient is approved by the AAVLD Executive Board.
President's Award
This award recognizes an individual(s) who has demonstrated meritorious achievement or contribution by undertaking special initiatives that advance the mission, values, recognition, and reputation of the organization. Nomination letters and letters of support from Laboratory Directors or Section Leaders will be accepted from May 1 – June 15, 2024. Nominations for this prestigious award are reviewed by the AAVLD Awards Committee and the recipient is approved by the AAVLD Executive Board.
AAVLD Life Membership
In recognition of longevity as an active contributing member of the AAVLD. Nomination letters and letters of support from Laboratory Directors or Section Leaders will be accepted from May 1 – June 15, 2024. Nominations for this prestigious award are reviewed by the AAVLD Awards Committee and the recipient is approved by the AAVLD Executive Board.
