![]() Dr. Trevisan earned his DVM degree from Santa Catarina State University, Brazil, 2009; an MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, Brazil, 2013. After practicing for almost 8 years, Dr. Trevisan joined Iowa State University in 2017, where he obtained a Ph.D. in Population Sciences in Animal Health in 2020. Currently, Dr. Trevisan is an Assistant Professor at the Veterinary Diagnostic and Production Animal Medicine Department at Iowa State University, where he conducts work with an emphasis on veterinary diagnostic data and field-applied epidemiological research to generate information to support stakeholders in making informed decisions on disease management and control. Dr. Trevisan is Co-PI on the Swine Disease Reporting System and works collaboratively with the FieldEpi team and Iowa State University Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory.
