Instructions for Submitting POSTER Presentation Recordings

AAVLD Meeting Reminder: Hard Deadline of 9/1/2023

for uploading posters

Dear, all:

As we look forward with excitement to our upcoming AAVLD meeting in October, I want to remind you that the deadline is SEPTEMBER 1^ST for uploading your PDF Poster. Following are the folders to be used when uploading your PDF Poster Presentation. Please, be sure to upload your PDF Poster Presentation into the right folder and by discipline if indicated:

On-Site Presentation Instructions:

1.  All (on-site) presenters are required to upload your complete poster as a PDF by September 1^st, 2023, 11:59 pm PST (Hard deadline) to the following link:

-       If your poster is not submitted as a PDF, it will not be accepted.

-       Please place your poster in the correct discipline folder corresponding to your session (i.e., Bacteriology, Pathology, etc.)

-       Please use the following file naming convention: Seven-digit Abstract ID_Your last name. Example: 36233080_Saliki.PDF.

 1. Please include an email address on your poster (directly in the text or if printed already on a sticky note) to which questions about your poster from competition judges and meeting attendees may be directed. Posters will eventually be archived in the AAVLD CE library and available to all AAVLD members.

 2. On-Site Poster set-up will take place on Friday, October 13th, 2023, from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center. Poster room location: Maryland Ballroom CD

 3. The maximum poster size is 48” x 48” (122 cm x 122 cm).

 4. You are asked to stand by your poster during the poster presentation sessions on October 14^th, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on October 15^th, 2023, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM to answer questions from on-site attendees. You may also expect e-mail questions from meeting participants from October 1^st, 2023, to December 1^st, 2023.

 5. Poster removal will take place on Sunday, October 15^th, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Any posters that are not removed during this time will be taken to the Registration Desk for pickup. Any posters/poster holders that are not picked up by Wednesday, October 18^th, 2023, at 12:00 PM will be discarded. Posters and poster holders will not be mailed to presenters if they are forgotten.
