CODE OF CONDUCT FOR AAVLD AND USAHA MEETINGUSAHA and AAVLD are committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all meeting participants and organization staff. USAHA and AAVLD have zero tolerance for any form of discrimination or harassment, including, but not limited to, sexual harassment and verbal or physical abuse against attendees or our staff. All participants, including, but not limited to, attendees, speakers, volunteers, exhibitors, organization staff members, service providers, and all others are expected to abide by this Code of Conduct, which is incorporated in to and made a part of the meeting registration below. By registering for this event, you agree to comply with this Code of Conduct. If you experience harassment or hear of any incidents of unacceptable behavior, USAHA and AAVLD ask that you immediately email [email protected] and/or contact onsite security so that appropriate action can be taken. Unacceptable behavior includes:
Disruption of presentations during sessions, in the exhibit hall, or at other events organized by USAHA or AAVLD throughout the meeting is prohibited. All participants must comply with the instructions of the moderator, presenter, and any event staff. USAHA and AAVLD reserve the right in their sole discretion to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including immediate removal from the event without warning or refund, in response to any incident of unacceptable behavior and/or to prohibit attendance at any future meeting, held virtually or in person, for anyone who violates this Code of Conduct. USAHA and AAVLD reserve the right to deny, refuse, or revoke admission during pre-registration as well as on-site during any and all events. USAHA and AAVLD will have no liability in connection with such a revocation of admission and/or expulsion from any or all events, and there will be no refund or compensation of any kind as a result of revocation of admission and/or expulsion from any and all events under this policy.
