AAVLD Website Optimization - Request for Proposal
Background
The American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians (AAVLD) has a website for enhanced communications with organization members, affiliated organizations, and the public.
The platform for the AAVLD website is powered by MemberClicks.
The Goal of this RFP is to solicit and contract with a vendor to review the AAVLD website, provide feedback that addresses the points below, and update the website. If the website review and update prove satisfactory, there is the possibility of further contracting with the vendor to provide regular website updates with continued maintenance as a webmaster.
Specific Tasks Required for this RFP:
1. Review of the current AAVLD website for simplicity, readability, accessibility (ADA), and usability (ease of use).
2. Outline approaches to improve website simplicity, screen readability of content by users, accessibility/readability on mobile devices, accessibility (ADA), and usability (ease of use).
3. Assess whether the proposed changes can be done within the current platform (MemberClicks). If not, provide approaches to optimize the website on an alternative platform.
4. Provide the one-time review and website update.

Bid for Work:
A bid for work will be submitted by the vendor.

Proposals will be accepted until September 15, 2025.
All proposals received by our deadline will be reviewed, but no proposal will necessarily be accepted.
